Portugal Hotels
Wednesday, January 30th, 2008Just because Portugal is a small country does not mean that it is not important. Portugal is huge on flavour and culture, especially Lisbon. Also, don’t confuse Portugal with having the same culture and life as Spain. True, they do share a very close proximity, but they are two completely different countries.
Portugal hotels are often in high demand for the tourists from Europe, let alone the tourists from North America. Lisbon hotels are often in demand during the heavy times, but settle down during some of the lighter tourism periods. Algrave hotels are in demand year round. Algrave is prized for being a beautiful, yet safe area of Portugal with miles upon miles of pristine beaches.
Madeira is a awesome island, not actually part of Portugal. Portugal gave Madeira its political independence and it operates for the most part as a free country. Madeira hotels are also some of the busiest. They reach 70% of total capacity during the busy tourism season, when thousands literally flood the island. Madeira is just a rather small island, but is accessible by two airports and a variety of ships and ferries.
